Comments about Swim Ear Drying Aid, 1 fl oz: If you have ever had an earache you know how painful it can be. I started using this product when I was about 9 yrs old. Seems some people have a problem with trapped water in there ears after showering, swimming, etc. Which causes a painful earache. Comments about Swim Ear Drying Aid, 1 fl oz: I use this after swimming 2-3 times per week. Unfortunately sometimes it's a bit harsh if it runs out of my ear, but it works so well to dry up the liquid in my ear, it doesn't matter! Comments about Swim Ear Drying Aid, 1 fl oz: OMG this product is a God sent!!..I was dizzy and had vertigo..but one morning I woke up in the middle of the night and almost fainted !! that is how bad it was....I went to the hospital and two doctors and they could not find anything ( goes to show you they do not call it practicing get it? PRACTICING MEDICINE for nothing ..but the last doctor I visited listened unlike the other ones..when I told him to check not my ears but deeper my ear canal because I was reading that water gets trapped there causing vertigo and also for people with allergies they tend to produce humidity water( like the sniffles but in your ears )..voila! there was water..he sent me some expensive medicine ...When I got home I read about this product...and the reviews in many other places...even though one lady says her child was screaming ..truly speaking No it does not burn unless of course if you have something in your ear that will cause the alcohol to burn a little..in my case I loved it! the vertigo went away even the ringing..and the bubbling sensation..and light headed..everything!! and to think I was suffering with this for a few years...now everyone uses it in my house and gave it to my son and his girlfriend and recommended it to friends and recommending it to you ...and so cheap! if you have vertigo or dizziness big chance it is water trapped in your ear canal...I bought more and will stock up with a few...it is very important after a shower to use it..and since it gets foggy where I live I notice a change in my ears ...I believe the humidity affects it too.. Comments about Swim Ear Drying Aid, 1 fl oz: It's true the main ingredient is alcohol, but it also includes glycerin to soothe the ear. I've used straight alcohol in a pinch, but if there's the slightest irritation, alcohol stings like crazy. It is more expensive than using straight alcohol, but Swim Ear is much gentler, plus significantly easier to use than trying to drop alcohol into the ear from the bottle's cap. Cons Best Uses Comments about Swim Ear Drying Aid, 1 fl oz: This product is fine - easy to use, effective, etc. But it's JUST rubbing alcohol, so why not just buy a big bottle of that for a couple bucks? It would be easy to dose out a bit into the cap, then tip that into your ear. This product seems relatively inexpensive, but it's really very marked up when you consider that it's just rubbing alcohol. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend (3 of 4 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review Displaying reviews 1-6
