He originally prescribed Lactulose which helps draw water into your colon to help loosen things up but caused me to gain 5 to 8 pounds of water weight. I found this product which does NOT cause water weight gain and flogs things along quite nicely. I need to use it every day. On a follow-up appointment, I brought the bottle in to ask my doctor about it. He approved it for safe use on a daily basis since it had no chemical additives and does not cause dependency like chemical laxitives do. What a relief.....in more ways than one!!! Phasyne and walking have barely kept in under control. However the worst part of this for me, was that it turned my urine brown, and I have the urge to go to the bathroom non stop. Since this was the only thing new I added to my diet, I figured it was this. However, I did research brown urine online before I figured out it really was the Swiss Kriss. I found out that senna can change your urine colors, and so I came back to drugstore.come to see what herbs these tablets were made out of. These are made out of nothing but Senna. Comments about Swiss Kriss Herbal Laxative, Tablets, 250 ea: I have had a complete spinal fusion from top to bottom. Due to my chronic pain, I take pain meds & they cause you to be very constipated. I am able to take Swiss Kriss, that was introduced to me by my mother over 30 years ago. We also have a family history of constipation. I can take it everyday with a stool softner & have no problems at all! I have suggested Swiss Kriss to many friends that have problems & they love it too!! Thanks to Swiss Kriss my life is easier!! I would suggest Swiss Kriss to anyone that has constipation problems & needs relief fast. I can't think of one negative thing to say about Swiss Kriss. Thanks to the makers of Swiss Kriss!!!!! Pros
