I'm not sure how anyone could use this properly. There is a huge dot of glue on both sides of the stone where the label was attached. I couldn't use even use it. Yes, it was inexpensive, but I still expect it to be functional.

Yes, the sticker leaves glue. You get a small knife or a small scissors (something with a pointed edge) and it takes two minutes to pull the glue off. If you end up pitting the stone slightly...it's *pitted already*. You won't damage it, you'll just add a little more texture. I did exactly this and it's FINE. I've owned one of these for 10 years and now it's indented down the middle from a decade of daily use and all the edges are rounded. I thought they'd stopped making them til I found them here on drugstore.com. This thing is simply perfect for smoothing your heels and cleaning off the bottom of your feet during each shower. It can also smooth out heels and elbows if needed, you just need to be gentle. This thing lasts forever and works great. Don't let a little sticker glue scare you!

To get good results, soak feet in a warm soapy mixture and rub firmly with the grain of your footprint.

This thing is tiny and comes with paper labels GLUED on both sides. You can't remove the glue - so if you still want to try to use it, you'll be rubbing GLUE on your feet.

Not bad for the cost. If you have serious callouses than it may take a while to see results, but if this is something you would like to use once or twice a week to maintain that pedicure smooth feet than this is for you.
My main/only complaint is that the sticker does not come off well and it left a decent sized section unable to be used.
Overall not a bad product for the price.

For the price you can't go wrong. It does its job and it hasn't broken at all. I'd buy it again.

I use a pumice stone everyday because I live in So CA and we wear sandals year round. I like to keep my pumice stone in the shower, so this one looked like it would work, because it had a string, and I could hang it up to allow it to dry.

Well, when it arrived it was so small I could barely keep it in my hand while I was in the shower. It kept slipping out of my hand, and the size made it hard to cover your entire heel. I will not be purchasing this pumice stone again...

I'll never be without one. Not only does it extend the life of my pedicure - it helps slough off dry flakes from eczema/icthyosis.

works well on calluses and leaves the skin smooth and much softer
