They are the only cotton round (or squaare or ball) that does not desintigrate and leave cotton bits behind. I use them for putting tonner on my face, taking off makeup or nail polish. I don't have time in the morning before work to pick tiny cotton bits off my face. The pads are not as soft and flexible as they were, and the top and bottom layers seem to separate. They were nice and cottony and now they are harsher. I'm very disappointed.
