These work the same as regular Q-tips...not sure why anyone wouldn't use these since they are made of recylced material and are good for the environment.

It's an eco-friendly version of a well used product. I do not see any difference between a 'Q-tip' and this version; it just makes me feel better to use a product that is better for the environment!

these are not as good as q-tips, but they are organic and healthier so i think it's worth it. the cotton tends to pull away from the stick a little bit, so it can be annoying if using these to clean out little ears, etc. overall, i would recommend these, though.

I was really expecting something nice from these swabs based on the price and some of the other reviews. They are made with organic cotton which is a good thing and why I gave them stars. Other than that they are ok. I would not describe them as plush, softer or more absorbent than typical brands. I prefer to buy organic items but also prefer they aren't more than double the price of what I typically pay for the item.

This is one of those organic products that truly is a superior product. The swabs were thicker and the stick is much firmer. I will keep buying them they're worth it.

These are the most expensive cotton swabs I've ever bought, but I'm going to keep on buying them! I decided to try these swabs only after I bought and fell in love with the organic cotton balls sold here on drugstore.com-- I found the cotton balls to be very thick, soft and durable, well worth the money. So I thought-- why not try the swabs too? I was hesitant at first to spend so much on swabs, but now I'm really glad I gave them a try. These have a much tighter cotton nib on them. You know how conventional cotton swabs fluff up and fray, and you end up with little shreds of cotton here and there? Well, these don't do that, even the stick part is made well. When in the past, I used to go through about five or six swabs during my morning routine, now I just need two. Plus, I don't think I need to mention the environmental impact of buying pesticide treated products. All in all, this product is great (and I can't believe I'm writing a review on cotton swabs)!
