Plus if you're putting product right on your skin, organic, sterile applicators is the obvious way to go. Re: the reviewer who said these scratched her face, that is so bizzare. Maybe you have a cotton allergy? And to the one who said touching cotton balls is like running nails down a chalkboard... Woah - sounds like some kind of synesthetic bad acid trip... Not laughing _at_ you, exactly just... astounded! Anyhow, the product is highly recommended. Comments about Swisspers Organic Triple Size Cotton Balls, 80 ea: I use these cotton balls everyday to apply toner after I wash my face or to apply eye makeup remover in the evening. I use them in wound care to apply hydrogen peroxide or antibiotic ointment. I use them with alcohol to clean bathroom tiles so I can apply suction cups. Another situation will probably come up where these cotton balls are the perfect tool. They are large which I like because I feel that I don't need to skimp on what I am doing; that said I do often only use half of a ball. They are sturdy and stand up to all of my uses without unraveling or falling apart, even when I have torn them in half; no wisps that need cleaning up. And they are soft on my face, I have never had any discomfort when using these cotton balls (I have been using them for about 1 year now). Every once in a while I try a different brand, either organic or not, but keep coming back to Swisspers. In short, I think these are the best cotton balls available. Pros

If you want to buy organic cotton balls to be more environmentally friendly, then certainly purchase these - but don't believe them when they tell you they're a decent size. I would describe them as Small.

I don't recall what brand or where I got the few I have left but they are thicker and larger than the ones I purchased here. I assumed the ones I have already were regular cotton balls but if the labeling on this product is accurate by 'cotton ball industry standards', mine were humongous compared to the ones in this package labeled "triple size". Maybe "triple size" actually means I will need three of these Swisspers cotton balls to equal the same size and thickness of the ones I had previously? That would seem more accurate now that I have received the product. If this is the case I think these were over priced, mislabeled and a big disappointment for my first drugstore.com purchase. I thought shopping here would be more convenient and offer greater variety of product if not competitive pricing. Since I didn't get what I thought I was getting this just a big disappointment and a waste of time. I am better off going to a brick and mortar store from now on.

Comments about Swisspers Organic Triple Size Cotton Balls, 80 ea: These are pretty big. I actually tear them in half and use one half to remove my eye make up and the other to apply toner. Took me a while to realize most cotton beauty products (including tampons/pads) are made with cotton treated with pesticides. These are inexpensive, and worth the benefits. Probably great for chemically sensitive skin. Definitely worth the extra $.50! Pros

Comments about Swisspers Organic Triple Size Cotton Balls, 80 ea: I've yet to find softer, more absorbent cotton balls. They will soak up practically anything- and TONS of it. They're incredibly soft, and I've never experienced one fraying or anything of the sort.
