I use them for removing waterproof mascara and nail polish. They are so durable I cut them in half, so they go twice as far. These are a bit more expensive than the cheap generic brand but you will use far less. With the cheap ones I would use 4 just to get my eye make-up off! However the last lot I ordered from drugstore.com (12 packages) were not quilted as usual. They've changed the way they're made. Now they fall apart more easily and leave bits of cotton on your face. This was never a problem before. If they would only go back to the way they used to be made I'd give them 5 stars plus. I actually use the neutrogena oil free makeup remover to soak the entire pad and use it on my entire face. These cotton pads are big enough to take care of my entire face and strong enough to use both sides! I don't like those cleansing face wipes and these face pads work perfect for me. Also, i got it at a great price and bought enough to last me a whole year!

They are strong and absorbent which is a real plus when comparing it to the cotton rounds and pads out there that fall apart when you use them.I will definitely purchase these again!

These are so soft, thick and absorbent that I often separate one pad into two for small jobs.

These pads are way bigger than I was ready for, but I cut them in half for my toner and in quarters for eye make-up removal...how bad can that be...double the pads! Seriously, these are great and I totally recommend them if you're tired of the little round pads that completely disintegrate with one swipe of the face. Pros
