I dont have very tight teeth like most people do... so this comes in handy

but theres a problem! it hurts the gums i used this a few times and some times i get blood coming from my gum line because of this

NO i am not using them very hard.

But i do have mild gingivitis and it has reduced it dramatically

Are you kidding? I've been using these picks for years, I wouldn't use any other, and I tried the rest. Only beef is you can't find 'um at the store anymore, you have to buy online. but they're worth it, I order a dozen packs at time. I've got big fingers and I can't do regular floss, and these picks are small enough to maneuver around in the mouth and get the job done. Not sure what the reviewer above is talking about, being easily broken? What are they doing with 'um anyway? And you're supposed to toss 'um in the trash and get a new one once in awhile so you don't breed too many kooties on 'um! The travel pouch is a great idea, the wife carries one in the purse for me when we go to the restaurant in case I forget mine. I will be heart-broken when they finally go out of business and aren't available anymore.

I wouldn't recommend these picks they broke so easily that I tossed the package out after 3 uses.

The sword is so flimsy that you can't push the floss in between your teeth. They smell good and are good for poking your gums like a toothpick, but that's it. I actually was annoyed and upset when I used these. I'm not one to complain, but I'll complain about these all day. They suck.
