Usually just use witch hazel out of the bottle on a cotton pad, but thought I would give these a try. Be gentle with them, too hard and they could have a sandpaper effect.

When it's bedtime, I don't want to wake myself up by washing my face. These are the only cleansing pads I've found that remove dirt and makeup without leaving a residue on my skin, and they're gentle enough to remove eye makeup. I've never found these in a store and only came across them accidentally at drugstore.com when I was looking for Dickinson's Cleansing Astringent Towelettes, which are also one of my favorite products. I am really happy with this product and will stock up on them the next time I order from drugstore.com.

I decided to buy these because ive used witch hazel in the past and liked it. These are great. They are a good size pad for cleaning my entire face and only need 2 if my face is really dirty. They dont smell awful or feel weird. Clean nicely!

I ordered these in addition to the Dickinson's Cleansing Astringent Towelettes, thinking that the ingredients were the same and this would be more pads and less waste (a towelette is not always needed). When the items arrived, I checked the ingredients and essential oils are added. I can only use products that are completely oil-free. Wish I had noticed this before purchasing. Too bad there isn't a "pad" that is oil-free.

I bought these as a way to remove makeup without a full soap and water wash. They work great, the pad is big enough to clean my whole face-- I keep them on my bedside table to use just before sleep. The pad surface is slightly abrasive, but I don't mind.

Although I have not used this larger size pad, I have used this product for many years for nightime facial cleansing - it can't be beat! I like to add a few drops of a balancing essential oil to enhance and personalize the experience. Very refreshing.

I purchased this product based on other reviews. I, too, have nothing bad to say about this product. I will buy again when this container runs out. Cleans well, is gentle and does not smell.
