I was looking for a cruelty-free cleansing pad that I could use daily and took a chance on Hazelets. I've been using them daily (at bedtime) for a couple of weeks now and I'm very happy. They stay moist in their container, they don't scratch or dry my sensitive skin. Particularly in winter I struggle with dry patches that then become oily when I moisturize. Since using Hazelets (in combination with a Burt's Bees moisturizer) I haven't had that trouble. My face feels fresh and clean after washing with these. Only down side is that they don't seem to do much for removing stubborn eye makeup.

Decent.

These pads are good to use if you want your face to feel clean but you don't have the means to wash it. The pads are a little scratchy.

Comments about T.N. Dickinson's Hazelets Witch Hazel Pads, 60 ea:

It serves as a cleanser, a economical jar/amt. They dont stick together, good texture, good smell, works as witch hazel should, seems to help blemishes, feels good to use for me. I believe in this product as a rare find. I have blemishes issues, but like a no nonsense way to clean my face without water or soap.

Comments about T.N. Dickinson's Hazelets Witch Hazel Pads, 60 ea:

I love all of T.N. Dickinson's products but this one fell a bit short. These pads make my skin feel clean and fresh but the pads are way too thin and small so it takes me forever to clean my whole face and neck. The pads are round and the same size as a cotton round but the thickness of a piece of paper. I'd prefer that they make the pads the same thickness of an actual cotton round if it's going to be the same size as a cotton round. If they did that then I'd rate this 5/5.

A health practitioner recommended witch hazel for toiletting hygiene to prevent itching. These individual pads are much easier than usig a bottle with cotton balls, although you pay for the convenience.

      Contains alcohol

Comments about T.N. Dickinson's Hazelets Witch Hazel Pads, 60 ea:

The product details tab says "No Added SD Alcohols", but the ingredients list says "Distilled Witch Hazel (100% containing Alcohol 14%)". SD Alcohol is denatured alcohol which simply means that something has been added to make the alcohol unfit to drink. So, this products contains alcohol but boasts no SD alcohol. What is their point? That you could squeeze the liquid out of the pads and drink it and not get poisoned? I'm not going to do that so the distinction is meaningless to me. Also, what does "Witch Hazel (100% containing Alcohol 14%)" mean? Sounds like 86% to me, minus the small percentage of preservatives, so less than 86% witch hazel. I try not to buy from companies who try to mislead consumers. And I'm looking for witch hazel without alcohol. Thayer's (in the bottle, not the pads) looks like the only one, but it has other ingredients besides witch hazel.

Witch hazel is a mild cleaner with a pleasant smell that cleans personal areas. It prevents irritation and itching. These pads make the application convent and much less messy--although more expensive--than bottled witch hazel applied with tissues.
The pads are very thin. Make sure you're using only one at a time.

I use these nightly for a quick-clean before bed rather than washing my face with soap and water. I like to add a few drops of an essential oil to make the experience even more pleasant.
