There is a woody smell, but it is a burnt/charred wood smell. As I am allergic to any smoked food products, I have a very negative association with this smell, and I really don't want my body to smell like that. I am going to return it if I can. Comments about Tabu by Dana Dusting Powder, 4 oz: Great to use after bathing. Some powders, along with their perfumes are so overpowering that they make your nose pinch and eyes water - not so here. This was my high school favorite and many, many years later I still love it.

Comments about Tabu by Dana Dusting Powder, 4 oz: I am interested in classic fragrances, and Tabu has always been one of my favorites. I am so glad that the Drugstore.com carried it, and it has the same potency as I remember. I hope they also begin to carry the cologne and lotion because I had to get those from another vender. But, I loved it then, and love it now. It will be one of my signature fragrances as long as they do not change the strength/ingredients.
