I purchased this chandelier for my daughter's nursery. Without having seeing it in person, I was worried it was made poorly. But it was exactly how it looks and how it's described. The base of the chandelier that meets the ceiling could be a little bigger. It was a little challenging to put it up. As long as someone who know how to put up lights should be able to figure it out, but if your a 1st timer it might be difficult. I did though have other issues.

Cute little lamp. Cord is WAY too short. Replaced with a longer one from the hardware store -- fairly easy to unwire and rewire with the longer cord. Also added on/off switch to new cord. Bulbs worked fine. Provides plenty of light for bedside reading.

This is even cuter in person. The combination of beads and drops really gives lots of faceted light and looks fancy and feminine up close or hanging from the ceiling. The cord is covered with a white chain so it can look nice as a swag, and equipment is enclosed to make it hang from the ceiling as an actual fixture (we did not do that). Packed well - no isses with anything broken or bent. Looks perfect in my daughter's nursery.

Do note that though it has a cord to do as a swag, it's not a very long cord (would need to be placed very close to the plug). Also the cord does not have an on/off switch. If you choose to use this as a swag you will want to plug into a socket hooked up to a light switch or a surge protector.

This isn't made from expensive materials but that doesn't matter - it gives a great effect, plenty of clear light and is utterly adorable.

Darling in granddaughter's BR. Wish cord was a little longer when hanging from ceiling, but using extension cord works.
