There are other good products on the market but they all smell horrible! Dermatologist recommended it and I'm hooked. I'm blonde and fair skinned but it tans based on your pigment so the result is a natural looking tan glow....no orange. The first time I used it, I didn't put it on well so it was a little streaky. The next time, I applied it better and pretty liberally. After just a few days, I was happy with the nice glow. Then, I broke out in big, red, itchy welts on my legs and arms. I followed directions carefully and used daily for about 4 or 5 days (box said to use daily for a week). There is definitely something I'm allergic to. It took a few days for the welts and itching to go away. Just beware if you have sensitive skin. It doesn't say sensitive skin on the label, so I shouldn't have bought it in the first place. I do use L'Oreal Sublime Glow and other tanning moisturizers with no problem, so my skin isn't super sensitive to everything. Comments about Tantowel On The Glow, Self Tanning Moisturizer, 8 fl oz: i'm naturally very fair with dark hair, so sometimes i can look a little goth without a bit of color on my skin. i have tried tons of self/sunless tanning products and these are BY FAR the very best i have ever used. when you first apply one, it will take 4 hours to see a difference. also, for 3 days straight i applied 3 wipes and ended up with a very noticable "tan". after that third day, i was using a wipe maybe once or twice a week to keep the color. i seriously LOVE these. Also works well if you use the tan towel and then use this daily to maintain color and moisture. I use daily and love it. Pros

Because it takes more than one application, it's not as harshly colored. And even if I need to create a tan in a few hours that works too! Just apply a few times in a row - it's AWESOME. I would never go back to the harsh ones that leave streaks and look obvious. This one is the way to go! Pros

Also, doesn't have an offensive odor. I didn't give it a 5-Star because with my fair skin, I thought it was too dark for the first time. And I will be buying some for my sister. Pros
