Because of the extreme temps this summI also opted to use the tantowels. I spent my usual wkends at the ball tournaments but when the temps exceeded 90*
I sometimes opted for the use of a tantowel.
I thought the look of the tan was a little "fake" but when you see that a lot of people are doing the same you don't feel as tho it's a cop-out.
I just ordered more to keep the look through the beginning of school. A satisfied customer:)

The biggest issue with these towels is that they dry out too quickly. There isn't enough to cover your entire body with just one towel. Regardless, they did provide a nice tan to start but the color started to orange a bit as I continued to use them. I also developed a few itchy rashes from the high levels of DHA in the product. The scent isn't that good but better than some I have smelled. When I start on my legs, the first leg always gets darker than the other because the first leg gets most of the product transferred from the towel. There also is no color guide so you have to look for the "wetness" to tell where you've already applied. But you do see a difference in the first 1/2 hour so it does work. It's just not my favorite and it's a tad bit $$.

Great natural looking tan IF applied carefully. I use regular moisturizer first on areas prone to over-absorption and where there shouldn't be tan (e.g. inner arm, palms, elbows, knees) & rub them with a moist paper towel afterwards to remove excess tanner. One towel covers most of my body & dries amazingly fast. Just wish the tan didn't fade so quickly, even with the matching moisturizer product on some of the in between days. Rarely rubs off onto clothing.

For me, the greatest thing about Tan Towels is that I am not allergic to them!!! I have a horrible time using most kinds of lotions, soaps, creams, etc. I was soooo thrilled when I found this product a few years ago. Also, as a former AVID sun worshipper, and tanning bed tanner, I have now developed a lot of skin cancers, so I must be very careful of any such exposure, yet I am also very fair. I want a little bit of glow in the summer and Tan Towels enables me to have that, safely. Another tip: I purchased the spray bottle and used it on formerly used wipes, and that really made it economical. . . For those who had trouble with streaking, you just have to learn to be very careful, and I must say that in the last year or so, I think the formula has greatly improved. I use it year-round, cause as we all know, fat looks better tanned!!! :) It's a wonderful product for me. Thanks!

This is the only self tanning product I have used that doesn't have an smell. IT does a great job and gives an even looking tan. I even use it on my arms and legs in the winter to give a hint of color.

The worst sunless tanner I have ever used. I used the medium dark and it barely showed. I'm only 5'3" and one tan towel wasn't even enough. PLUS it does not go on evenly at all, no matter how meticulous you are. I've tried MANY sunless tanners and this is the worst waste of money. Save yourself. Try the sublime bronze if you want a darker tan. (I'm really pale too- NC 25 in Mac)

Great product. Highly recommend because odor is minimal and tan is natural looking.

Works well, goes on evenly, dries quickly, still covers even though towel seems dry so keep applying. One quick helpful hint: to avoid hands becoming stained use latex (or non-latex) gloves.
