When used appropriately with a badger brush, and your chosen razor, it gives a great shave... that is if you know what you are doing. Wonderful soapy-sandalwood fragrance, that lingers on the face for awhile. I shave almost daily and a tub lasts usually around five months. I suggest it to anyone who enjoys a old school wet shave.
