The best way I can explain this is that the tea tastes almost like it has a bunch of incense or those scented and perfumed wood chips in it. I am a big green tea drinker, and like most of the top line green teas I can find at my local grocery store, but I will never buy this again. Comments about Tazo Zen Green Tea, 20 bags: This tea offers drinkers the opportunity to have a mint tea that also has caffeine. Mint teas don't usually have caffeine, which is frustrating for those of us who would really like some mint tea in the morning but also need a pick-me-up. This tea is perfect for those situations. But hard core green tea drinkers shouldn't assume it's going to taste like green tea. It's very good for what it is, and you can get all the health benefits of green tea while getting your mint fix.

Comments about Tazo Zen Green Tea, 20 bags: Zen is not my favorite. I enjoy high quality Chinese green tea. High quality green tea doesn't taste anything like this at all. I can't help but agreeing with previous review er stating it tastes almost like it has a bunch of incense or those scented and perfumed wood chips in it. My tongue felt numb for a long while after drinking this tea.
