I will still sweat when using this product as *it is not an antiperspirant*, but I'm not a super heavy sweater, so it isn't a problem for me. My sweat is just NEVER accompanied by an unpleasant odor when using this product. I just smell like me! I will never go back to commercial deodorant EVER again. Helpful hint: From my experience, you should rub the wet crystal under your arms for *at least* 20-30 seconds under each of your underarms for best results. But now (after months of use), I notice my skin is red, my armpits itch intensely, and not only do I have odor after only a few hours, but the stone itself smells like B.O. My crystal REEKS. Comments about Thai Deodorant Stone Thai Crystal Deodorant, Stone, 4.25 oz: I have tried every deodorant out there to stop odor and sweating and nothing works, in fact scented deodorants are the worst and they were darkening my arm pits terribly. I having been using this thai deodorant stone for about 4 to 5 weeks now and it's such an amazing product i don't know why i didn't try it sooner. It goes on smoothly, and no irritation even after i shave which is a plus. there is no scent or white marks and no odor all day long.. and the best part is my arm pits are becoming lighter the more i use it! I do have occasional sweating when i'm more active but it is natural and at least i don't smell. I highly recommend trying this product before any other and decide for yourself!  Pros

It left residue in the cabinet and on the sink and once it started to shrink down it had a tendency to come loose and fall out of the case, shattering or causing cracks in the crystal. Now, not only do I get non-staining protection I have a product that stays where it belongs and does not leave residue anywhere. It is cost effective and I am extremely happy with it. No itching, stinging or other irritation. Dries quickly and I feel confident using it. I use it every day, especially after my shower. It is fast and effective and I would recommend trying it if you don't already use it. Pros
