I have adult, very sensitive/combination skin. I had tried this toner, wanting to save money from my usual toner and was hoping it would be gentile enough on my face. Not the case. It irritated my skin, dried it out, did not moisturize, and made me break out. Surprising for a "natural" product. Also, the smell is horrible! I can handle smelly products but this one smells like someone 'tried' to bottle the smell of cucumbers (not a good smelling cucumber) and then went overboard on the amount. I will be going back to my more expensive toner from now on that has worked perfectly for me.

Feels great! I use this twice per day. You can use it under makeup, and it absorbs completely. Also feels nice if you put it in the refrigerator :) It moisturizes dry spots and removes oil all in one! I also like how this product has flip top squirter so that you don't have to contaminate the product as you commonly do in other toners where the cap removes completely. Great for calming redness and inflammation

Best non-irritating, non-drying toner I've found so far for sensitive skin &/or combination-oily skin prone to breakouts. Have tried dept store brands (Clarins, Chanel, Shiseido, Shu Uemura, Lancome...), aesthetician/spa brands (Laboratoire Remede, Bliss, Paula Begoun...), dermatologist brands, natural brands (e.g., evanhealy) & have made my own.

PRO'S:
*Minimal ingredients - eight
*Non-irritating, nourishing ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Grapefruit seed extract & Vit E.

Great for daily use (AM&PM) even in cold, dry winters. Doesn't strip skin but balances & lightly moisturizes. Also, good for use to balance/remove shine in hot & humid weather.

CON'S:
*While it does remove dirt & makeup, this is NOT the right toner if your cleanser does NOT remove most of your makeup.
*NOT the right toner if you want toner that prevents shine for most of the day

I have a very dry skin and this toner really moisturizes well. It absorbs right away without heavy or greasy feeling. I go to bed after applying this toner and lotion or cream. Next morning, my skin was very smooth and evened out. Highly recommend. Cool, light, not loaded with chemicals, works great!

I love this toner! It was my first time using Thayers witch hazel toner and I decided to give it a try because I'd used regular witch hazel way back when and even though it smelled a bit funky at first, it really worked. This toner didn't smell funky at all; instead it smelled really good! I always use some on a cotton pad to wipe my face, especially the T-zone area as that is where oil tends to accumulate for me. The only thing that wasn't so great about it was that I noticed that it didn't seem to be shrinking my pores anymore, but then again I'm not sure if that's the toner's fault or just my own. Otherwise, it's very moisturizing, leaves my skin feeling very fresh and smooth, and I already plan to buy a whole bunch to keep in stock around the house when I'm done with this bottle. But the best thing about this bottle is that I've been using it for so long now and it seems to last forever! Definitely making my money's worth every single penny!

Can't say enough good things about this product. It cleans thoroughly but gently, leaving my skin feeling clean, fresh, and balanced. I have combination skin, oily t-zone and dry patches elsewhere, and this is gentle on the dry areas but cleans up the oil. Absolutely great, I'm so glad I discovered this product! The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the scent. It's not exactly bad, just, hmm, I don't know, maybe a little medicinal? Old-fashioned smelling? When I read cucumber and aloe, I think of a nice light botanical scent, but this disappoints on that level. However, the scent disappears immediately upon drying, so I can live with it.
