I have somewhat sensitive skin and can't take any alchohol on my face, and that's why I bought this astringent. I like the smell, it cleans well, feels fresh on skin, doesn't sting...it works great! However, I looked it up on cosmetics detabase and realized it's not as green as I thought it was. So though I've got no complaint about it, I'm switching to another brand that's greener.

We use it as the second step in a 3-step acne program, since we find that we never use the products for the first and third steps as quickly as we use the second. Two acne-prone children, ages 11 and 13. They also love the smell.
I also like that it's natural and organic, unlike most products that work well on acne.

I used it everyday after shower.I love the smell of it.I used to have the rose ones but want to change to different types. It works well.

I really wanted to like this product because of all the natural ingredients but after using for 2 weeks I can't say that I do. First of all, if you have oily skin then don't even consider using this as an all over facial toner. I made this mistake and my face was literally an oil slick maybe an hour or two later. I will say however that it didn't sting or burn but it never made my face feel clean. It felt like it never fully absorbed and just sat on top of my skin making it feel sticky and making my pores more noticeable. It did help with razor burn but not to the point where I'd purchase this product again. I've used other witch hazel toners before and I'll stick with them over this.

Makes a great aftershave right after your cold rinse and BEFORE you put on any aftershave balm/gel or lotion.Works to soothe as well as close any very small nicks or weepers you have immediately after shaving. I follow it up with aftershave gel or lotion but you need not do this.

I have been transitioning into natural skin care products in recent months and this astrigent is perfect! It's a great value and I like the lemon scent. The best part is it doesn't burn or sting like typical astringent that contains alcohol, so I can even use it after getting my eyebrows threaded. Very soothing, and it leaves the skin feeling so clean. My husband gets upset when we run out, so even he must have it!

I have used Thayers Rose Petal before and loved it but thought after reading the reviews the lemon might help my recent breakouts. till then, it smells great, is gentle and I wish came in pads:)

This is the best stuff! I use it as a body spray on hot humid days.... as a cleanser all over for camping trips.. as an emergency spray for cuts, bites and scratches. Here's a GOOD TIP for you.... take a sprayer like one from that mall shop with all the fragrances, lotions etc... and take just the clear sprayer off of a body spray bottle.. (8 oz bottle). wash it -- make sure to spray clear water through it too.... It fits right on the top of this bottle! This way you can spray directly on your face, kids knees and for guys -- this is an aftershave spray now. No more waste!!!!

I am 34 and have acne prone, dry skin. I figured out that any products with chemicals cause me red and irrated skin. So, when i found Thayers Lemon witch hazel, i was very excited. It was all that i had hoped! It cleanses my skin so well, without drying or irration. I use it every night after washing my face with water and a washcloth. It removes all the dirt from my pores. My blackheads and acne have improved SO much since finding this product.
