Comments about Thayers Medicated Witch Hazel with Organic Aloe Vera Formula Astringent Pads, 60 ea: The title and description are confusing. Like other reviewers, I read the title and thought these were facial astringent cleansing pads. They are not! If you read the description and the packaging itself, the pads are intended for pain relief from burns, abrasions and minor skin irritations. While I was unable to use them for the purpose I was buying them for, they have been a useful first-aid tool. I would not have purchased them at full-price for that use, had I known. They are sort of unique and do come in handy. I may buy them again if I find them on sale. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (2 of 4 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Best Uses Comments about Thayers Medicated Witch Hazel with Organic Aloe Vera Formula Astringent Pads, 60 ea: this hurts my skin. i don't have sensitive skin, just normal and combination a little dry but not in summer. really normal... i've used skyn island one but that one is a tad pricy for me and i've tried DDF's one but it was to ruff and makes my skin irritating.. so when i saw it and decided to by Thayers toner, i thought i can just give it a try cause it's really cheap and in some way, the package attracted me. but after one use, i found this is stink so badly and not so fresh after use. it leaves some sticky feeling and exactly like DDF one, the texture of cotton pad is too ruff for me that i can't even rub it on my face properly. unlike skyn island one, i coudn't find any improvement after using it and i'm just using it as a cleanser for my back (i have some acne on my back). i'll never buy this again and now i decided to go back to Skyn island though it's pricy a little... Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend (1 of 4 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review Displaying reviews 1-2
