Comments about Thayers Medicated Witch Hazel with Organic Aloe Vera Formula Astringent Pads, 60 ea:

I am glad I discovered this product. I also occasionally use Thayers lotions. This product does wonders for my mature oily skin and the occasional acne outbreaks on my chin and forehead. I frequently use it as soon as I get up, and leave the good ingredients work for 15 minutes, before my shower. I also "target" the outbreaks with a pad, and hold it on them for 10-20 minutes, rolled in a small "ball". I tend to think that camphor, besides witch hazel, provides the benefits I am getting, for it can often be found in some high-end and European "apothecary" products for oily skin. In any case, the combination of all the ingredients is excellent and so effective. I tried a pad on mosquito bites, and it soothes the inflammation (I held a pad on the bite for 20 minutes). I absolutely love this product and will keep buying it

Comments about Thayers Medicated Witch Hazel with Organic Aloe Vera Formula Astringent Pads, 60 ea:

I forgot to mention in my previous review that this item contains clove oil, which is terrible if you're acne prone. It's a mild, natural anesthetic which is why this is mainly for first aid. I just received the pads and use them regularly as I'm constantly getting scratched up and I love them. They are so much more convenient when I'm on the run.

Comments about Thayers Medicated Witch Hazel with Organic Aloe Vera Formula Astringent Pads, 60 ea:

I have extremely acne prone skin but I have never used this on my face because it contains alcohol. After reading the other reviews about how people bought this for their face, I'm surprised no one else checked the ingredients. I love Thayer's Witch Hazel and their alcohol-free witch hazels, both original and scented, feel amazing on my face, but this medicated superhazel is not for acne. It's great for cuts, scrapes, burns, etc. I use the liquid one right now and am waiting for the shipment containing the pads. All in all, if you're looking for something for acne, try their original alcohol-free formula. If you're looking for a natural first aid addition, the medicated superhazel is great.

My doctor recommended that I use Witch Hazel throughout the day to cleanse my acne prone, extremely oily skin. I saw this and thought it would be a great travel/on-the-go/convenient way to carry it with me (vs. a bottle and cotton pads). I am not sure what exactly this is for, but I would not use this on my face. The smell was horrible, and it left a greasy residue.

Comments about Thayers Medicated Witch Hazel with Organic Aloe Vera Formula Astringent Pads, 60 ea:

The title and description are confusing. Like other reviewers, I read the title and thought these were facial astringent cleansing pads. They are not! If you read the description and the packaging itself, the pads are intended for pain relief from burns, abrasions and minor skin irritations. While I was unable to use them for the purpose I was buying them for, they have been a useful first-aid tool. I would not have purchased them at full-price for that use, had I known. They are sort of unique and do come in handy. I may buy them again if I find them on sale.

this hurts my skin. i don't have sensitive skin, just normal and combination a little dry but not in summer. really normal... i've used skyn island one but that one is a tad pricy for me and i've tried DDF's one but it was to ruff and makes my skin irritating.. so when i saw it and decided to by Thayers toner, i thought i can just give it a try cause it's really cheap and in some way, the package attracted me. but after one use, i found this is stink so badly and not so fresh after use. it leaves some sticky feeling and exactly like DDF one, the texture of cotton pad is too ruff for me that i can't even rub it on my face properly. unlike skyn island one, i coudn't find any improvement after using it and i'm just using it as a cleanser for my back (i have some acne on my back). i'll never buy this again and now i decided to go back to Skyn island though it's pricy a little...
