Comments about The First Years Learning Curve Massaging Action Teether, 1 ea: MY GRANSON JUST STARTED TEETHING. I PURCHASED A VARIETY OF TEETHERS TO TRY, AS THIS IS OUR FIRST GRANDCHILD AND NOT SURE WHAT WAS EFFECTIVE. WOW, THIS ONE IS AWESOME! WHEN WE FIRST HANDED IT TO HIM HE WASN'T SURE WHAT TO MAKE OF IT, BUT THE VIBRATING END STARTED TO HUMM AND MASSAGE, AND NOW WHEN WE HOLD IT OUT, HE REACHES FOR IT. HE QUICKLY LEARNED TO BITE DOWN AND MAKE THE MAASSAGING END VIBRATE. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS TEETHER. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED IN PURCHASING THIS! Comments about The First Years Learning Curve Massaging Action Teether, 1 ea: 5 month-old baby figured out how to make this vibrate immediately, although he doesn't get the bite right every time. He enjoys holding it, though, and biting it even when he doesn't get the buzz. The handle design works for Mommy, too, because it's a cinch to put on the end of a length of interlocking rings and attach to diaper bag, stroller bar, car seat strap, etc. The only drawback is that this is a "disposable" item, because the battery cannot be replaced; into the landfill it will go -- ugh! On the other hand, babies will probably like it even after the bzzzt bzzzt bzzzt goes away. Comments about The First Years Learning Curve Massaging Action Teether, 1 ea: This is a better toy than a teether. Right now my eight month old likes the rattle on the handle more than the vibrating star, but I think she'll figure it out eventually. Comments about The First Years Learning Curve Massaging Action Teether, 1 ea: My daughter had a severe oral aversion, which made teething even more difficult. I thought her OT was insane when she recommended this teether. I thought my daughter would completely freak out when it started vibrating when she bit it. Comments about The First Years Learning Curve Massaging Action Teether, 1 ea: I bought this for my 5 month old daughter and she is not interested in it yet. It is a little heavy for her. I would reccomend buying it for a 7 month+ baby instead. Also the yellow part collects hair easily and quickly. Which is not desirable for a TEETHING toy that is in your baby's mouth all the time. I have to wash it often but she does like it when I hold it in her mouth and push the vibrate part. Maybe later she will be able to do it herself. Comments about The First Years Learning Curve Massaging Action Teether, 1 ea: My 13 month old son loves this teether; as soon as he figured out it would vibrate if he bit it, he really enjoyed just holding it in his mouth to relieve teething pain. The only drawback is that the covering to the vibrating part easily picks up dirt, hair, etc. from any surface so you have to wipe it off frequently (and you can't immerse it in water since it has batteries inside). It would be nice if it came with some kind of case so as to more easily keep it clean.
