It does explain some basic position. But for any one other than beginners or one trick ponies, You already use the majority of these or at least have tried them.
The main jest of this book is a handful of positions written about and described by different Author.
But It is very entertaining in it's description.

I was intrigued to see a more modern book on this subject. The photos and text are great. However, it lacks the ability to compare with the original. I have passed my copy on, as I didn't feel the need to refer back to it once read through.
