They contain no sugar and have an ingredient to neutralize bad breath. The entire thera breath line is like this. It truly removes the source of odor on your tongue & mouth with its oxygenating ingredients. The flavor is a soft mint, and you can't taste the tangerine despite the name of the product. The flavor isn't as strong as an altoid, nor does it give you that burning sensation so it's really gentle in the mouth and kids could use these. They are square in shape, and about the size of a nickel, so bigger than your average circle shaped mint. They last forever in your mouth, and really do help to produce saliva which will also help breathe issues. I love how these are individually wrapped for freshness. At first you think [$] for a box of mints, but you get 100 of them, so that is only 10 cents each. You cant put a price on fresh breathe vs the sugary mints other brands offer that just mask odor. These were invented by a dentist, all of the therabreath gums, mints, & strips work wonders. Don't be fooled by other brands of mints you see at the counter to prevent bad breathe, these actually have technology behind them and ingredients to get rid of those germs. I would love to see more flavors, and again I did not taste any tangerine so these aren't some weird flavor. For reference the mint itself is a semi-soft mint. It doesn't break your teeth if you decide to bite into it. My husband however, likes them (he has no dry mouth issues). Best Uses Comments about TheraBreath Mouth Wetting Lozenges, Mandarin Mint, 100 ea: These lozenges were STRONGER than Altoids! There was no hint of citrus whatsoever - and they did not make my mouth feel moistened. In fact, the effect was the opposite - my mouth felt very DRY after using! I hated the flavor, and had to give the entire box away to someone who likes strong mints. Absolutely nothing like advertised. Very disappointed, and a waste of money. Pros

Comments about TheraBreath Mouth Wetting Lozenges, Mandarin Mint, 100 ea: These lozenges seem to work ok, but not for as long as described. The taste is a little bitter, but not bad. Pros Cons Best Uses
Comments about TheraBreath Mouth Wetting Lozenges, Mandarin Mint, 100 ea: These mints seem to work well to freshen breath and make the mouth feel clean. I don't have dry mouth but I didn't feel any effects of the wetting properties they claim to have. I think they are a good size and you don't take the mandarin at all. They taste more like a sweet mint. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about TheraBreath Mouth Wetting Lozenges, Mandarin Mint, 100 ea: Maybe I wasn't expecting too much from the product and I haven't been disappointed. The taste is not overly minty and sugary like SO many breath products, true. That's good because I just like a bit of energy before I work out and don't want to use mints all day; so one is just right. They are individually wrapped - thank you. I'm tired of packs of mints collecting lint in my purse and wouldn't want to offer one to a friend or colleague. Individual wrapping is a big plus. Yes, it helps with dry mouth. Many medications cause this condition and one lozenge works great. I am 57 and have noticed my mouth getting drier over time. My dentist recommended Biotene and I use it at night but don't want to carry around a little spray bottle all day. These mints are perfect for that. I like the taste but not so much I have them all day long. They are definitely worth a try if you have dry mouth or want to freshen your breath without a sugary aftertaste. Pros

Comments about TheraBreath Mouth Wetting Lozenges, Mandarin Mint, 100 ea: Deliciously refreshing mint, but not too overpowering like Altoids. Fresh breath in a jiff, but without the sugary taste of some mints or the medicinal strength (and smell) of most mouthwashes. Despite the picture on on the box, these mints do not taste of citrus at all. But they do have a very pleasant peppermint taste. I don't have a problem with dry mouth, but my husband does. He says they work great for him. I'll definitely buy more and would recommend them to others. |
