This product STINGS! It has a menthol-y smell and feeling. Probably helps if you would like your eyelids to feel superclean, but I am going back to the Ocusoft. Comments about TheraTears SteriLid Eyelid Cleanser, 1.62 fl oz: After eye surgery, eyes became sensitive and dry. No drops worked very well,and had to use several times a day for any relief. Somedays eyes really just hurt! I evidently had bacteria on my eyelids, and the baby shampoo I was using to clean eyelids did not kill the bacteria. The Steri-Lid WORKED! I used morning and night to start with, because it helped so much; I thought more would be better! It dried my eyelids a bit(became flakey), so now I only use at bedtime, then the baby shampoo in the morning. This is working great! It sometimes stings a bit, not all the time, but well worth it. Comments about TheraTears SteriLid Eyelid Cleanser, 1.62 fl oz: I started using this to clean my lashline,which gets very sore from blepharitis. Since using it daily for a few months, my eyes feel much better, little or no soreness. I think what has helped so much is the tea tree oil in it, which kills fungus (sebborrhea-related blepharitis is related to fungus). Yes, it burns my eyelids, sometimes a lot, but it does not burn my eyes, in fact i can open them with it on. I leave it in for 1 min., as recommended, if I can stand it. SImilar to the dreaded Listerine minute, lol. It seems to help much more than the various towelettes I have tried, which don't contain tea-tree. Pros

My eye dr. gave me some cleansing pads and I could not find the same product locally or on Drugstore.com, so this was to use "instead". I like it ok, but I actually like the pads better. It does a fair job for what it is and I don't regret trying it at all. I have a friend that uses it because she has frequent eye infections. If I can't find the pads again, I may order again, but not sure. Pros
