Lid Hygiene is important for everyone, especially those preparing for eye surgery. Finally, a convenient and effective way to cleanse the eyelids and eyelashes. Safe for everyday use!
"For years I recommended lid hygiene and massage to my patients for healthy eyelids, and then watched as they struggled with homemade mixtures and dilutions, fumbled with cotton tips and pads, and put up with stinging and burning. That's why I developed SteriLid. More effective, more convenient and more comfortable, SteriLid works great whenever lid hygiene is recommended."

Comments about TheraTears SteriLid Lid Gel in a Tube, .5 fl oz:
Less effective are Ocusoft liquids applied to cotton pads. Less effective too are Ocusoft individual saturated wipes. Of them all, this gel is the best. One complaint: the last portions are hard to squeeze out of the plastic tube. Also its a bit pricey.
Comments about TheraTears SteriLid Lid Gel in a Tube, .5 fl oz:
Easy and quick. Put the gel on a finger tip, close eyes, gently massage the eyelid. Rinse with a clean wash cloth. Apply morning and at night if needed. It removes oils and debrie easily.
Comments about TheraTears SteriLid Lid Gel in a Tube, .5 fl oz:
Warm a gel eye mask in the microwave for 13 seconds, and wear it for at least 5 minutes. (I believe this helps open the pores and "melts" the thickened oils in your glands.) Then use a pea size amount of gel and gently massage into eyelids and lashes. Let it sit for one minute and then rinse and dry thoroughly. Do this upon wakening and before going to bed. It has helped my blepharitis/styes tremendously--not 100%, but say 90%. My eyes used to be dry, but I no longer need drops, and I am not getting conjunctivitis. Just an occasional "pimple" at the base of an eyelash, but I think after a month or two with this regimen, I might lick this thing totally.
