I've been tested for all of the known issues that cause this problem and they were all negative. For the past few years, I've been using BC to reduce the number of periods I have to I can enjoy my life instead of dying once a month. I must say...these little babies WORK! By now, I normally have had a combo of pain pills and would be struggling to stay awake. I've had two midol (yes only TWO) and this heatwrap for the past three hours and I have no desire to kill myself from the pain. They cool a little when you're sitting too long but a walk down the hallway or to the ladies room gets them heated again. I must say, I'm very impressed. I agree with the others that they are a little expensive but this item will move from the luxury to necessity category in my book. VS Most Liked Negative Review Works - but use with caution! They have specific instructions on the maximum time you should wear these. Admitting fault, I did wear them longer than recommended, but because of circumstances, couldn't just whip it off. I have found that mine get warmer if I open the package, peel the plastic off and let it sit in the air for a few minutes before I place it. Really relieves cramps and keeps me from having to take so much Midol. I highly recommend this product. Pros

They are in my eyes a god send. I get horrible cramps every month and have so for years and years. These were always available in the local stores, but now I can't find them anywhere, so thank god drugstore.com carries them. If you have horrible cramps or just uncomfortable during that totm you need to get these! Pros

As soon as I feel the first twinge, I slap one of these on, and the pain never develops or comes on strong. It saved my career the day I woke up in severe pain on the first day of my first job. I hobbled down to a drugstore, bought a box, and put one on in the ladies' room. I was able to work the whole day, and even forgot about having cramps. My only complaint is that the adhesive is pretty weak and the patch eventually falls off. I make sure to wear leggings, or something that I know will help hold it on. It usually stays hot long after the pain has gone, and I feel like I don't need it anymore.  Pros

I used to get severe cramps for 1-2 days of my period, I'd be between going to the bathroom with nausea and diarrhea and curling up in a fetal position the entire time, screaming from the pain. Now my pain is even WORSE, I miss like 3-4 days of work (turns out I have fibroids). These heat pads have made a HUGE DIFFERENCE, they are easy and fast to put on, really reduce the pain, and certainly more convenient than what I used to do (put a hot water bottle on my stomach, and drink warm liquids). I'm allergic to a lot of medications so this helps a lot. I stock up on piles of them because often when I go to stores I can't find it on the shelf. Pros

It frees me from relying on over the counter pain meds to relive my symptoms. I have VERY BAD cramps. I have cysts that make cramps really bad, but this product takes care of all the pain.
