And why aren't there billboards promoting them? :) I've suffered from severe cramps for years so badly that the one doctorI saw put me on meds that would block me from knowing I was hurting. I've been tested for all of the known issues that cause this problem and they were all negative. For the past few years, I've been using BC to reduce the number of periods I have to I can enjoy my life instead of dying once a month. I must say...these little babies WORK! By now, I normally have had a combo of pain pills and would be struggling to stay awake. I've had two midol (yes only TWO) and this heatwrap for the past three hours and I have no desire to kill myself from the pain. They cool a little when you're sitting too long but a walk down the hallway or to the ladies room gets them heated again. I must say, I'm very impressed. I agree with the others that they are a little expensive but this item will move from the luxury to necessity category in my book. VS Most Liked Negative Review Works - but use with caution! They have specific instructions on the maximum time you should wear these. Admitting fault, I did wear them longer than recommended, but because of circumstances, couldn't just whip it off. Comments about ThermaCare Air-Activated Heatwraps, Menstrual Cramp Relief, 3 ea: Remember the old days where you'd bring your heating pad to work during that wonderful time of the month. No longer must we broadcast I've got my period and I'm in pain. Disposable portable heating pads, now why didn't I come up with that. The heat last well over 8 hours and not once have I burned my skin. That can not be said of the traditional electric heating pad. Try it once and you'll be back for more. Pros

Comments about ThermaCare Air-Activated Heatwraps, Menstrual Cramp Relief, 3 ea: Doctor recommended the use of heating pads, but who can sit around all day with those? Interstitial cystitis is an inflamation of the lining of the bladder, usually caused by stress - not an infection. Is not treated by antibiotic. Responds really well to heat therapy, moderate exercise and changing one's diet to exclude acidic and spicy food, along with alchohol. Also means no cranberry juice. This sounds so contrary to what is prescribed for a bladder infection or UTI. In this instance, the bladder lining becomes so inflamed, and the nerve endings so sensitive, the acidic qualities of cranberry is a no-no. Caffeine should also be avoided.
