I've been tested for all of the known issues that cause this problem and they were all negative. For the past few years, I've been using BC to reduce the number of periods I have to I can enjoy my life instead of dying once a month. I must say...these little babies WORK! By now, I normally have had a combo of pain pills and would be struggling to stay awake. I've had two midol (yes only TWO) and this heatwrap for the past three hours and I have no desire to kill myself from the pain. They cool a little when you're sitting too long but a walk down the hallway or to the ladies room gets them heated again. I must say, I'm very impressed. In less than 15 minutes, they start to work and take away my awful cramps! I get severe cramps, so I use these along with Midol when my period first starts, but I notice more of an immediate relief from the heat wraps. I would recommend that you not use them all the time because they can burn the skin a little; that is an awful area to burn. I try only using them when my cramps are at their worst or when I know I'm going someplace where it may be hard to stop and take a Midol. I actually recommend these for physical activity as well. I play softball, and I find that they really work well even when I am moving around a lot. Overall, at least try them once; no harm can come from trying these heat wraps! Heating pad really works to reduce the awful pain from cramps (I got to the point where Advil wasn't working anymore). Patch works by using your body heat to heat up the iron fillings inside. Stays toasty for a good 12 hours for me. Very discreet underneath clothing. I stock up on this stuff (worth every penny!). Way better than a water bottle. They REALLY do heat up and last all day. I actually find they heat up for longer than eight hours. I tried two other cheaper brands and believe me, don't spend your money on those. Im of average size and think the pad fits well. Yes it is a bit large for any type of panty that isnt 'granny' style, but then youre on your period!! Who cares? I decided to try these pads in addition to it and they are GREAT!!! It is so effective for my severe pain, not to mention it lasts well over the 8 hours. (more like 12 hours). A little pricey, but trust me, they are worth every dollar. These have been an absolute lifesaver for me. Please don't EVER stop making these! These fit FINE. My only wish is that they cost less! Thanks for finally doing something to help women. I use natural progesterone and it helps, along with no caffeine, etc, but I still get cramps.
