I've tried many hairsprays over the years, from drugstore brands to designer salon brands. Very few others are great but this one's the best value I've found. A lot of hairsprays claim to add shine to the hair but this one's the FIRST hairspray I found that actually does. Other hairsprays leave my hair matte. I like the Cell-U-Plex formula, it really does hold my hairstyle great, doesn't flatten it down, leaves my hair shiny & healthy & flexible. My hair is medium-thick and it gives just the right amount of hold for my bob-length hair. It doesn't dry out my bleached highlights and doesn't leave my roots greasy at all. I love that it is so light yet effective! I also use it in combination with John Frieda Spray Wax for texture and it leaves my hair looking healthier than when there's nothing in it. It has no offensive odor or fragrance as far as I can tell, which is a HUGE PLUS to me. Another good hairspray I use, Samy Zero Calories in the red can, is great but I can't stand using it because of the super-strong perfume scent, ugh. I have to be in the mood to brace myself for the heavy gardenia-type scent that lingers all day long. Also Samy hairspray costs at least twice as much as Thicker Fuller Hair. This hairspray is such a great deal, definitely worthwhile to have at home & at work. The mist is very light and fine, sprays mostly where you point it, not all over whever is around you & the floor. I use this as a final spray after either straightening, curling, or just leaving it naturally wavy. It gets rid of fly aways and does not have the "crunchy" strong hold that i hate. it does its job while still leaving the hair brushable and able to run your fingers through.

However, when the can gets to about 10% or 15%, the spray comes out in globs. I clean the nozzle after each use and clear it by spraying it once upside-down after each use, but to no avail. I wind up having the throw the can away before it is empty.

The new formula reminds me of the aqua net I used in third grade for Halloween. Disgusting and it totally weighs my hair down. Please bring back the old formula! Was this review helpful? After trying hairspray after hairspray...I found Thicker Fuller Hairspray and I have been a faithful user for over five years. Love this product and hope I can always purchase it! It does indeed make your hair look thicker and holds wonderfully. Although I thought I preferred the "old" version, It did not take long to get used to the "new" version, I really don't notice any difference to be honest-- It still works the same on my hair and makes it easy to style. And I really don't notice ANY smell after using this. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this hairspray!!!!

I could put on a $500. outfit & is my hair isn't good nothing I wear will make a difference. None of the stores I buy beauty products in carry this probably because it costs way less.
