We have to do our own laundry here at a remote outpost in Afghanistan where the water quality is not always so good. We stink. The water stinks. This does a good job of odor fighting and I like the smell.

And of course since it's liquid Tide, it cleans well.

I used to use this all the time and it really helped all of my workout clothes to smell better. Now for some reason it gives my clothes a really foul odor. It almost smells like cat urine. Not sure what happened, but this no longer works for me.

This detergent is wonderful! I run 5-6 times a week and when I work up a sweat, I can smell the Febreze "activate" by getting a nice light smell of the detergent. It literally activates when you sweat. I love this product!

The smell is amazing. My husband and I are very athletic (rugby, hockey, triathlons, etc) and this is one detergent that leaves our clothes smelling great. I did not get headaches or dislike the scent.

I have used this stuff on my cycling gear, my work uniforms, and polyester shirts. I have had horrible experiences with other detergents not getting the funk out. I read the other reviews and was perplexed as to why the smell offended them. This stuff powered through stinky crusty pits of my wool blend work uniforms and brought them back to life after some TLC. I was not offended by the smell because it was a welcome alternative to stinky pit odor.

As far as cleaning clothes, this works well as Tide has always been my favorite laundry soap. I will stick to their normal laundry soaps.

I used this to launder my gym clothes; it smelled pretty good in the bottle. It made everything smell overwhelmingly sour and gave myself, my husband and a colleague I work out with headaches (and I am not headache prone). I'd highly recommend sticking with the original scents.
