I do not have muscle or joint pain from arthritis or athletic related issues. I have pain from neuropathic disease, more specifically foot pain. I have found this product to work exceptionally well. By causing stimulation of surface sensations, the deeper pain problems seem to be temporarily ignored by the brain, giving relief.
My mother in law is using this and when I do her laundry I can't get the horrible smell out of her clothes. I hate having the horrible smell in my machines and don't know how to get rid of it! Help! I guess it helps her pain, but it gives me a sore throat every time I try to wash her clothes.
I seriously can't believe that anyone can handle the smell of this. I actually had to take a shower late at night because after my husband rubbed it on my back before bed. I was unable to sleep due to the terrible smell of this product. I just wonder if something was wrong with my bottle, because it was so bad smelling. I returned it right away. Also, I didn't feel any more relief than I have from Ben Gay or the like. (which has a smell, but is much more tolerable)
I recently bought this lotion and am really amazed at how well it works. It is much easier to use than the balms, it spreads like a light lotion. Some people may find the smell offensive, but I really like it, it reminds me of a cinnamon candy. It makes painful areas seem less obvious through its sensations of skin crawling, ice cold feeling of discomfort. It is not for everyone, but I currently use this everywhere multiple times a day and appreciate the transition from pain to icy discomfort (with a weird feeling of comfort and warmth, as strange as that sounds at the same time.) I just bought the extra strength pot (its the tiny red tub) and it seems lousy in comparison to this (and harder to use), and I personally prefer the smell of this one. A little goes a long way, but I bought an extra just in case. I can see this working like vicks vapo rub on the chest as a decongestant. I have fibromyalgia and have tried prescription numbing patches that cant hold a candle to this in terms of pain relief, and I really like the smell! I am not a big fan of the smell of this, it is pretty strong. I do love how fast it relieves muscle cramps. I first used it by chance, I had a muscle cramp in my shin that had been going on for hours. It was so bad that it really hurt to touch my shin. I happened to have this product and figured I'd give it a try as nothing else was working...It relieved my muscle cramp and the tenderness in my shin within minutes. This is now the first thing I reach for when a muscle starts to cramp. It works quickly and lasts a long time I am very happy to have found it here as I have been looking all over town for it.
Shake well before using. Apply generously to affected areas and massage gently until cream is absorbed into the skin. For adults and children 12 years and older, apply to affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily. For children under 12 years consult a doctor before use.
Opening Instructions: To release turn the pup counter-clockwise. Pump until cream dispenses easily.
