This product does not work, use the Tiger Balm Ultra Strength instead, huge difference. I received no relief at all from this product but most definitely do with the Ultra Strength. I tried using it a couple of times, I've now thrown out the full jar.

I bought this as a recommendation from my friend and actually it didn't help my arthritis and swollen knee joints like she said it would. It has a very strong camphor smell that is not really unpleasant but strong. With daily use on my joints and muscels, I really didn't get the relief I was hoping for.

I used the product on the joints of my thumb, my knees and right elbow. It gives relief! I was surprised.

I would recommend the Tiger Balm Ultra over this product. Ultra is stronger and is clear in color. Tiger Balm Extra Strength is brown and stains everything it comes in contact with. It washes out, but it's not as strong and the side effect is that is discolors everything it comes in contact with.

I bought this stuff for my mother, but she said it did not work at all. The product Capazan, maybe wrong spelling, is better for her. All of these products are too expensive!

I rub this on my knees to help relieve pain, put it on before I go to bed; it is soothing. feel much better in the mornings

I got tiger balm because I really hate the smell of icey hot and bengay and i needed something for pain in my knuckles. Tiger balm smells so much better (kinda like vicks) and it really works! It gets really hot (great for cramps) and does not stain if you make sure you rub it in until the brown color goes away. Overall, its great stuff to have around and a little goes along way. :)

I strained an upper arm muscle - heating pad worked better, but perhaps I should have ordered a stronger version. However, I never used this product before; hence, I tried the least intense version.

really helps with muscle pain, but it does smell and will stain clothes. I use it at night and just dedicate ratty t shirts I wear when I use it

I've experienced near-chronic back/neck/shoulder pain since being injured in a car crash nearly 20 years ago. The pain is generally manageable with movement modification, stretching, and time on the inversion table. When that's not an option or not enough, I use Tiger Balm before resorting to meds. It works better than any other topical treatment I've tried--and I've tried just about all of them, including non-prescription analgesic patches and an expensive gel I got from a chiropractor. For me, it works best for back pain (but I think that much of my neck and shoulder pain is from scar tissue and is not necessarily muscular). I've noticed that when I use the Tiger Balm I rarely need to go ahead and take some sort of pain med or muscle relaxant, as well. It has quite a strong smell--which I like--but that fades. (And no, there are no "tiger" ingredients.)
