It is expensive but I only use a small amount. After trying many products it seems like the smoothing hair products that work well aren't cheap. You must use it sparingly or hair will appear greasy/stringy. I have to be real careful about that undesired effect. If it happens, brushing vigorously with a natural bristle brush will distribute it through the hair and look very smooth, just be careful to use a tiny bit. Overall, I like it. I was afraid to read the ingredients as I prefer natural products - this is not in that category at all. She has long, straight hair and this gives it a smooth finish without at all weighing it down or leaving a residue as some products do. She washes, blowdrys, then runs just a dap through her hair.
