It is expensive but I only use a small amount. After trying many products it seems like the smoothing hair products that work well aren't cheap. I have very fine but abundant hair that tends to have flyaways and such. This smells nice and my boyfriend commented on that so it's Boy-Approved. You must use it sparingly or hair will appear greasy/stringy. I have to be real careful about that undesired effect. If it happens, brushing vigorously with a natural bristle brush will distribute it through the hair and look very smooth, just be careful to use a tiny bit. Overall, I like it. I was afraid to read the ingredients as I prefer natural products - this is not in that category at all. This cream changed my super-curly, super-voluminous, dry hair from a Christmas tree into soft,shiny,healthy,pliable hair.When I use this while flat-ironing,my hair turns into silk.After I started using this several times/week,I started hearing strangers saying to each other,"I wish I had her hair," and they were talking about me!!!Get this cream!!!
