I purchased this product even after reading so many polar opposite reviews, since it was on sale. Here is what I have found: I first used the product on towel dried hair and found my hair to have the "crunchy" problem. I thought maybe I used too much of it, so the next time I only used one pump. It still came out "crunchy." What I have found works best is to use this product on SLIGHTLY damp hair, and focus more on the underneath and add just a little to the top layer. I have fine, wavy hair, and this technique has worked wonders. My hair keeps the springy curls and is smooth and soft. I hope this helps!

I use this on my towel dried hair and its a little sticky so I use a SMALL amount. It really makes my hair CURLY! I use the diffuser with it and it makes a big difference.

I just bout this today because i had a friends coming over for a lil get together over night thing. Im a guy I need to look my best, so i stopped by my kroger in my neighborhood and picked this up! Boy was i in shock! I washed my short curly hair and dried it and put this in and BAM! My curls was locked and loaded and ready to go it's amazing:) Im extremely happy i bought this and will be buying more of this product!!!!

Every one who says its sticky needs to understand a little goes a long way throughout the hair. I wash my hair every 3-4 days (depending how much i workout). I put it on the first day and by the 2nd day it is still working so all I have to do is wet my hair a little and put the tiniest amount in. My hair lasts 3 days with this product in.

It also smells great, defines my curls and controls frizz.

To prevent clumping you have to rake your hands through your hair and then scrunch up while your hair is upside down. Does the trick.

I have fine, wavy/curly shoulder-length hair and I've been looking for something to define my curls a bit better. My hair can get frizzy and fly-away, so I was hoping to find a solution in this product. However, Curls Rock just makes my hair super crunchy, stiff-looking and dried-out. The smell is strong, but pleasant to me. I used much less than the recommended amount and put it on damp hair. I tried using it for several days and tried adjusting the amount used, but every time, my hair just looked stiff and felt terrible. I also tried using it when air-drying and blow-drying my hair, but that didn't make a difference. It didn't even define my curls at all. The only use I've found for this is it does perk up my curls at the end of the day, once they're dry and I want a little boost to my hair. I have to use just the tiniest amount and it gives my dry hair a little extra body and hold. However, this just does not seem worth the expensive price tag to me. I know this product works well for others, so I'm attributing my disappointment in it to my fine hair, which is really porous and very picky about products.

My hair stylist uses this product on my hair everytime I go see him and I love the way it smells, the way it holds my curls in place and the texture of the product.

I have fine curly hair, but ALOT of it. A little goes a long with this! And they've since repackaged and reformulated the product, so to me its even better!

My hair is naturally curly below shoulder length. I use product to scrunch and encourage the curl and control frizz. This product controls frizz well enough but is stiff and gives it that crunchy feel. It does encourage and hold the curls very well. Because the hold is so strong, I have had more trouble with tangling. The smell is nice and the hold is very good. If you are looking for a stronger hold this is the product for you, however, if you want softness or flexibility, I would not recommend it.
