This product was really my only saving grace for my son (18 months old) who is allergic to Milk, Soy, Egg, and Corn. I will tell you he has not been able to do any formula's ever. I breastfeed him from birth to 13 months but I had to cut out Milk, Soy, Egg, and Corn (hardest thing I have ever done and had to stop because I lost so much weight). He does not mind the taste. He looks forward to his milk that I put this in for him. It gives him the vitamins and supplements that he needs right now. It may not taste so good to a child who's diet consist of sweet and tasty things already.

I bought this hoping to find a replacement for the expensive neocate (medical drink) but this is same as rice milk, just fortified. My child would not even drink it because it was rather gritty despite shaking. I bought the chocolate one but they don't seem to offer it now.. only vanilla. It could be the taste, as maybe the chocolate didn't really taste that good. Overall, I'd still recommend it for those who have problems with milk-based toddler drinks and want the DHA benefits.
