This is my nighttime toothpaste, and I love the taste. I stayed overnight at a friend's and forgot my own toothpaste, and this was what she had. I was a little leery of trying it then, but it only took two uses to convince me I had to buy it for myself. I've used it for years, and I'm so happy to be able to buy it online, because it's difficult to find in local grocery stores.
The whitening is not too drastic, just enough to scrub off the stains from the daily cup of coffee and occasional cup of tea I drink ... thank you, Toms of Maine for a WONDERFUL product!
I've passed it along to my mom as well, and now she's hooked, too!

Have always loved Tom's of Maine, but I bought this NOT KNOWING it has no flouride (should be in BIG RED letters) and one year later have 5 (FIVE!!!) cavities. Over the last 15 years I have had maybe 2 cavities total. With flouride-free formula, had FIVE in ONE year. Spoke with Tom's, and they are printing new boxes with flouride free displayed PROMINENTLY.

I really like the fennel taste as it reminds me of this great organic lunch spot. They would also give you a spoonful of fennel seed to help with digestion. It's definitely different and I'm sure some may not like that this product does not foam up, however I prefer not to have these extra unnecessary chemicals in my mouth and just go back to basics. Fluoride is also toxic and unnecessary.

At the least, small children should not be using fluoride. It serves no purpose for older people. You get fluoride now in food, drink and water. Don't add more fluoride if you don't need it.

I have a problem with most toothpastes making the lining of my mouth peel. Tom's of Maine seems to be the only toothpaste that doesn't do that. I also like the unusual flavors like fennel, cinnamon & cloves, etc. The only problem I have is finding it in all the stores. Maybe it doesn't sell because it's a bit higher priced than most common toothpastes but, for me, it's worth it.

I use this toothpaste everyday. It is the only one I have found that does not contain fluoride! I am allergic to fluoride, so it is really important to me. I love the fennel (licorice) taste. It may take a little to get used to, but it's worth the effort! I can't think of any negatives! It's super!
