It would be great if this tasted like mint, but it really doesn't. It tastes like some terrible candy. Would love a similar product in a mintier flavor.

This is so much better than using ACT, because it has a higher percentage of flouride and none of the chemicals or dyes. It has aloe juice, which is excellent for the gums and breath as well. The taste might take some getting used to but it is very mild and for me was not an issue since I drink aloe on a regular basis.

I love that this is not tested on animals and had fluoride but it tastes disgusting! I couldn't even keep it my mouth for 5 seconds, and even after rinsing my mouth with another mouthwash I could still taste it! I wish they had a mint flavored one with fluoride!

Although it tastes sorta like cough syrup, the benefits of this refreshing and thoroughly cleaning mouthwash outweigh the taste factor. Almost as good as brushing alone!

This product was basically perfect for me before they changed the flavor to include the "juicy" component. I have been using Toms of Maine fluoride mouthwash for years and have definately noticed a decrease in the number of new cavities that I have had. I also really like that this mouthwash has no alcohol or artifical dyes. I guess I will just have to put up with the weird flavor since I have yet to find a better alternative.

I need added cavity prevention and ACT and ACT knockoffs made my mouth sore. A dentist told me it was likely the lauryl sulfate which is in many mouth wash and other tooth care products that causes this. Many people are sensitive to the lauryl sulfates. I know I can't use regular shampoo for this reason--it's in that, too. So I have to carefully spend more money to find "all natural" shampoos. I was so pleased to find Tom's of Maine Anticavity Rinse at Drugstore.com. It is not with the other Tom's of Maine products in my local grocery and drug stores. It provides the extra flouride I need, tastes great, and is actually soothing to my mouth and gums.

My daughter was developing cavities so we added a fluoride rinse to her teeth care routine. This is the only product I could find without all the added chemicals found normally in fluoride rinses. The taste is acceptable to my 5 year old and it decreases any sensitivities in her teeth.
