It is not an anti-perspirent, so don't expect to stay dry. It does a great job with odor, and doesn't clog pores. Calendula is my favorite because my wife likes it. :-)

This is the only deodorant I can use without burning my skin. I've tried lots of brands (natural and otherwise). For those who have said this product burns your skin, try gentling patting your armpits dry after a shower. If I rub my armpits dry with a towel, even this product burns my skin.

The only thing I love about this deodorant is the smell -- very fresh and neutral (my husband used to use it too) -- but what it needs is reformulation! The first ingredient is propylene glycol which is known to cause skin irritation, as it did to my husband. Once he switched deodorants to this one, it wasn't long after that his pits became red and irritated. Too bad, Tom's needs to get on the band wagon like other natural brands and get rid of the propylene glycol! It's use is being reduced and replaced by safer glycols such as buylene and polyethylene glycol since it has been linked to more sensitivity reactions, per the FDA. I'm surprised such a natural brand such as Tom's uses this ingredient in their deodorants and possibly other products!?
