I bought this product because it was a natural aluminum-free deodorant, but it doesn't work at all for me. I put it on after a shower, and not 2 hours later I smell like I didn't shower or use anything at all, and I didn't do much to perspire or anything either. I like Tom's other products, but wouldn't recommend this particular one.

I started to use TOMS product that I purchased at the local retail store and then one day; the stores didn't carry this product anymore. I contacted the company and they sent me a very nice personal letter telling me all the stores that carried the TOMS product line along with several coupons and some sample items. To my surprise no one carried the roll-on product that I used. I contacted drugstore.com and the rest is history. Many thanks for a great product and wonderful customer service.

At first this deodorant worked fine, in fact, I bought it again 4 or 5 times. Even though the smell was not quite my favorite, I felt I got the safe protection I needed, specially at the beginning. Eventually, however, it wasn't doing the job. I had to apply lots of it to feel somewhat safe from BO. But the biggest problem was that it irritated my skin horribly. It looked like razor burn or eczema. It itched awfully and even burned worse on the days I just had to shave my armpits. I quit using it about 6 months ago (or longer) and though my skin is MUCH better, I still have a little irritation lingering owing to this deodorant :-(

The lavender smell is so lovely that I wish that I could put it all over my body! The true test will be the hot and humid Philadelphia summer as I work outside a great deal.

For decades my tee shirts were ruined by a crusty, yellowish stain in the arm pit area. I thought I had weird body chemistry. But I started using Tom's of Maine a few years ago and the staining stopped!! I wouldn't use any other deodorant.

I have already recommended this deodorant to friends. I love that all of Tom's products contain natural ingredients. Unlike other deodorants Tom's deodorant does NOT leave any oder on my clothes. This is a GREAT product!!
