The tube is the problem here. It's no longer metal based and is some sort of plastic/biopolymer and it doesn't stay rolled up. It's just a frustrating change in packaging that was probably not test-marketed properly.

That's why I've been using it ever since they started making the product. I'd been using Tom's of Maine toothpaste for years before that too.

I'm so happy to have the flavor and type of this toothpaste available that I'm ordering a dozen (saves on cost and reduces energy consumption too).

It is so annoying how product diversification means you have less choice ultimately, because retailers can't stock everything available, and therefore only shelve the priciest items that manufacturers developed just so they could get you to pay extra for something you don't need.

So I had to buy this here, instead of running all over town to find that no one stocks this item or never has it consistently.

I had an old tube of this product and fell in love with it because It didn't leave a surfactant-like coating in my mouth. (That makes me feel the need to spit for up to 10 minutes after brushing).
My mouth feels clean after using this. I went to buy another however, and noticed that not only have they changed the packaging, but they no longer list "peppermint oil" in the ingredients and instead have added "natural flavors". My sensitivity to chemicals is what brought me to this brand and I don't like that umbrella category, "natural flavors". That can mean anything. Also, they say on the package "no...artificial sweeteners...", but have listed "xylitol". Argh...I feel like this is no longer a real "natural" product. Buyer Beware. So disappointed.

I Usually love all the spearmint/peppermint varieties of tom's toothpaste but the new "whole care" line irritated the skin around my mouth, something I experienced with other brands but never with Tom's, until this product.

I prefer to use natural products, with no harsh chemicals in them. This product is good, but tastes bad. I got a sample of the children's toothpaste, which is flavored, and I like the taste of that better.

My teeth feel cleaner with Tom's than with any toothpaste I've ever used. Keeps breath fresher much longer, even overnight. It is a bit expensive, but what are clean teeth worth to you? I just won't use anything else but Tom's.

My husband and I use this daily. He doesn't love it, but it I think it works just as well as other toothpastes without a lot of the undesirable ingredients. I just wish it was a little cheaper. But I will continue to buy it.

I received a sample of this toothpaste in a previous order and I've been hooked since then. The natural peppermint oil leaves a long lasting fresh taste in your mouth. My breath was fresh all day and my teeth were left bright and super shiny. The only con is the metal tube, it's hard to get all the product out.
