The best 2 OTC topical pain relievers on the market are no longer available. Ther best was Celecaine and the 2nd best was Oxyflex. Hard to understand. As someone who uses topical pain creams everyday, I can tell you there is not a 3rd best.In my opinion, Topricin foot cream is no different than plain Topricin, better than nothing, but not great. Perhaps slightly better than most other products but hardly noticable. If you don't have chronic with more than mild discomfort, I suppose this will do the trick. But if you are like me with moderate plus pain, I'd keep looking.
Due to diabetic neuropathy, I had tremendous pain in one foot & could not get rid of it. Don't give up if it seems not to work on the first few times you try it. I used it for 2 weeks, several times a day, before I had the pain under control. Will continue using it twice a day in the future due to it making my feet feel & look better, in general.
Using for heel spur and sore arches after a day of teaching. Helps tremendously, esp if used daily. Initially used regular Topricin but this works better for feet.
Generously apply medicine 3-4 times daily or more often if needed, covering an area of 3 inches on and around the affected area. Massage medicine until it is absorbed.
For best results, re-apply medicine before bedtime and in the morning.
For sports applications, use before & after work-out and competition.
For acute trauma injuries, apply immediately for best results (fore sprains, strains, bruises, impact and crushing injuries).
