I use this at night before bed and have been doing so for three years. A few times I have tried other products that are similar, but I always come back to this one. It is just the right combination of ingredients, doesn't sting, isn't oily,and does the job on wrinkles and blotchy sun damage.My 50+ skin looks years younger thanks to this stuff and sunscreen.

The gel is great. The pump was defective, but I had a replacement from a used bottle. The smell is only temporary; when dry, it is not noticeable. A lack of fragrance is probably a better description than "bad smell."

I did a trial run with samples from dermatologist.
I use this product in the evenings (every other night) and leave on for about 10 minutes, and then rinse off. On other days I use my retinal cream with a moisturizer. It helps to smooth out skin and clear up uneven tones. Cheaper to buy online that from Dr's office.

Needed a general alpha hydroxy product - don't really like the consistency - feels like water - very runny and not really a "gel". Have not noticed any sensitivity. Hope it's real stuff and not truly water!

After receiving a sample bottle from our clinic and using just a few days, I noticed an improvement with my skin. I have rocesa with some sun damage starting to show and sensitive skin. I use this every other eve...the smell isn't the great, but it works!

I have combination skin which is a little bit oily in the T-Zone but haven't had breakouts since my teens (now in my late 20s). I tried this product to brighten up the skin tone and to get rid of some of the milia on my face caused by the richer skin care products from Estee Lauder.

I followed the instructions by applying once daily (at night) and rinsing off after 10 minutes. When the product first goes on the skin, the skin does feel tighter and cleaner. However, by the second day, my face began breaking out with small bumpy pimples on the forehead, the cheekbone area, and along the jaws.

After some research on the internet, I thought this breakout was normal "purging" period that should go away once the skin adapts to the product, so I continued using it. However, the situation only worsened. First, the pimples didn't go away. Second, my face itched constantly during the day. Third, the skin on my nose turned red and started bleeding (I had stopped putting the product on my nose as soon as it turned red but it still got worse). Blisters appeare don my lips (I don't use the product on my lips) and other area of my face began turning red as well.

By this point (a week later), I'm very skeptical of the so-called purging claim and stopped using the product. It's been three days and the symptoms only improved slightly. My face is now covered in pimples, my nose and cheeks are red, and the whole thing just itches like crazy.

Judging by the number of raving reviews this product receives, it must be doing something right for some people. Just be careful and maybe do a skin test before putting it on your face. It's very harsh and hopefully the damages are not permanent.

I had very high hopes for this product, it seemed that it would be great for my occasional breakouts and combination skin that sometimes is acne prone.

I used it as directed and after three weeks had to see a dermatologist to correct my skin--still working on it a few months later. This product gave me horrible cystic acne and also lots of surface acne that looked awful. It's been so bad it brought me to tears.

I'm most upset that I wasted so much money on this product just to have to throw it away. And I have to be on a prescription acne product to fix my now awful looking skin.

I never write reviews but felt I had to warn those with acne prone skin that this product will possibly make a disaster out of your skin!

I love this product. It is the only product my skin will tolerate. I am allergic to many cosmetic ingredients. It has kept me looking my best for many years. Love the pump because it gives you just the right amount.

I had really high hopes for this gel after reading the reviews. I normally use Alpha Hydrox Souffle and that keeps my face pretty clear. I used this gel on my face for one month and it made my skin worse. Within the first week I had three cystic pimples appear, one on my chin, two on my neck. Four weeks later, they are still there under the skin and they won't pop or go away. I also have numerous, small flesh colored bumps on my forehead and jawline that were not there before I started using this gel. Also, an oily sheen always appears on my face within an hour after applying the gel. I will be going back to Alpha Hydrox Souffle now. What a waste of [$].

I bought this based on the positive reviews here. I was so disappointed with this, it did nothing for me and was just like using water.
