I rarely write reviews, but for 6 years, I've had extremely bad eczema on my legs such that I could never wear shorts and had to wear bandages on my lesions. After trying conventional and alternative therapies and spending thousands of dollars with no improvements, I gave up. When I started taking this brand's PMS Tea for mid-cycle cramping, I noticed my legs started to clear up. I narrowed down which herb was helping me. Now I have no more lesions on my legs and only a slight rash on my face remaining. I let 2 bags brew in very hot water for the recommended 10-15 mins maybe once or twice a week now. This plus Cerave lotion or 100% Pure Body lotion and I've been cured. I'm absolutley amazed and still in disbelief. Please give the tea and the lotion a try if you are suffering. Please also read about how bad cortisone creams and steriods are for your body if you are stuck using these items for your eczema.

It is the usual great quality one expects from Traditional Medicinals, no complaints there.

Comments about Traditional Medicinals Caffeine Free Organic Herbal Tea, Dandelion Root, 16 bags:

Over the years, I have tried to learn to like to drink tea, both for health reasons and as a coffee alternative, but with limited success. I have now found that the only teas I like are some of the less traditional flavors: fennel, nettle and dandelion root. While I generally have a sweet tooth, and like my coffee with plenty of cream and sugar , I find that with this tea, I don't want/need the cream and sugar. Yes, it's a strong taste, but I like it. In my mind, the strong taste helps make it a coffee replacement. I can drink the tea either hot or cold. As for health benefits - it has helped with my frequent lower abdominal discomfort/fullness/bloating. It does seem to have a mild laxative effect, and in general, helps to keep things "moving". I have a cup on the average of maybe every other day.

Wasn't sure I would like this when a friend recommended it, but I actually kind of grew to enjoy it. It does have a unique, earthy flavor, but it's good and somewhat soothing. Tastes good with a little bit of honey.

I use it to reduce aches and pains from high nickel levels from knee replacements. It is a great liver cleanser.(something not told to you as a possible side effect prior to such surgery.) Must stay away from refined sugars, foods and red meat in conjunction with this problem.

Comments about Traditional Medicinals Caffeine Free Organic Herbal Tea, Dandelion Root, 16 bags:

I purchased this brand of dandelion tea after reading the reviews of others. It took me a couple of cups to get used to the almost weedy taste, but I really like it now. I feel good about drinking it for it's health benefits, and have returned to drugstore.com to reorder more boxes. I follow the brewing times/directions, and sometimes add a teaspoon of milk to it before drinking, as well as a little sweetener.

Comments about Traditional Medicinals Caffeine Free Organic Herbal Tea, Dandelion Root, 16 bags:

Dr. Oz recommended one cup of either Dandelion Root or Chickweed tea in the afternoon. He said it acted like a diuretic and a weak laxative which would help with weight loss. I tried Chickweed which tasted weak but palatable. I couldn't find it in bags, so decided on the Dandelion Root - ordered 3 boxes to match the quantity of the other Dr. Oz teas. Yuck! I had to add 2 packets of Stevia just to get it down. If it wasn't such a hassle, I would return 2 unopened boxes.

I make a big 8-cup pot of this in my coffeemaker (just one teabag) and add 2 Tbsp lemon juice and a splash of cranberry juice, then sip this all day to help me cleanse my system and lose some water weight. Love it!

My husband and I started drinking this as part of a health detox program. As a substitute for coffee, we didn't give it high marks, in fact, we called it "dirt" tea because of the flavor. But after about a week, we both began to really enjoy the flavor and would have a second or third cup in the afternoon or evening. Worth a try, and it's purported to be a great support to heath.
