I use Color Thrive twice a week. I was skeptical after seeing the commercial stating color-treated hair last longer using this product. Gave it a try and now love it.
I have used this product for the past 10 years. I find it keeps my hair color looking great and I don't have to color my hair for 4 months. I have medium reddish brown hair color and it always looks great. I have a lot of compliments on my hair all the time on how my color looks and how my hair looks after several months not being colored. I wash my hair everyday and use this product. my only problem is they have quit selling it at our stores here in Mt Airy, Nc. It makes me mad that when I find something I like they quit selling it. I use this product everyday and have found it to be the best to date for my color treated hair. I have wavy-curly hair, and this shampoo and conditioner help to keep my hair smooth and soft, and my color truer, longer. I usually do not need to have my hair re-colored until I can no longer take the root color difference... about every 3-4 months. The color stays true that long. I have been using this product line for more than a year now, and again, I highly recommend it.
I tried this product because it was recommended by Allure magazine for color treated hair. It does work! I shampoo everyday and this product helps keep the color in without fading for weeks. I do not use a conditioner as I have fine, straight hair and still my hair does not feel dry. I would absolutely recommend this product.
Strong smell. Harsh on my hair. After I purchased the shampoo and conditioner to protect my hair color, I found that the "Color Thrive" component which protects your hair color is only in the component which is a leave-in cream or spray that's not compatible with my hair-care routine. Very misleading.
Our Stylists Suggest Coat wet hair with a liberal amount of shampoo (enough to thoroughly treat the length of the hair). Gently massage the scalp and roots with fingertips to work into a lather. Then lightly squeeze the shampoo from roots to ends. Rinse thoroughly. Always follow with TRESemme ColorThrive Conditioner and Color Lock-in Creme or Spray.
