I think it's common sense that this is going to clean your hair for the most part. I mean, it is a shampoo and not a miracle worker. This and the conditioner work together, but conditioners do most of the work to help your hair. Most people don't just use a shampoo and wash n go. The only solution to split ends is to cut them, but these two products can help hide them.

I was disappointed in this product. It's just a normal shampoo, it doesn't do anything for split ends. But I have the conditioner from this line and it's actually very effective so I was surprised that this shampoo is not. As a shampoo it's decent, it just doesn't do what it's advertising states. At least it's inexpensive.

Well this product does not make the split ends leave, but it does make my super oily hair disappear. I usually have to wash my hair daily because it gets SO oily, but I can go a day without washing if I need to now and it still not get super oily.

Coat wet hair with a liberal amount of shampoo.
Gently massage the scalp and roots with your fingertips to work into a rich lather. Avoid roughing up to avoid tangling.
Lightly squeeze the shampoo form roots to ends and rinse thoroughly.
Finish with TRESemme Split Remedy™ Conditioner and Split Remedy™ treatments and styling products.
