Polish is nice, but when you're looking for the low-maintenance path to shiny nails, this Buffing Block is it. The black side (use it every two weeks or so) works to level deep ridges and lines. The gray area (also a biweekly task) leaves a nice matte foundation. And the white side (OK for every day) buffs everything to a glorious shine without the hassle of drying time!

I use this mainly to buff and finish the tips of my natural nails after using a standard nail file to shape. It smooths and seals the ends, lessening the likelihood of peeling or splitting. The block shape gives plenty of surface area to get the job done fast. Of course, it's great for smoothing and buffing the tops of nails, too!
I purchased this to replace another buffing block I had for years. I use this instead of nail polish. It makes my nails naturally beautiful - smooth and shiny. My husband even likes to use it to get rid of the really rough ridges he has on a few of his nails. It was only a few dollars and I'm sure it will last for a year! Can't beat that - a lot cheaper than manicures!
Black Buff: Smooth ridges and remove stains using easy strokes across the nail. Very deep ridges may require more than one buffing treatment. Repeat every 2-1/2 to 3 weeks.
White Buff: Use easy strokes across the nail for a smooth, matte foundation before final shining. Repeat every 1-1/2 to 2 weeks.
Grey Buff: Apply light pressure while stroking across the nail to bring out an amazing natural shine. The more often you repeat this step the shinier your nails will look.
