I have used this product over the last 12 years and use it faithfully for severe diaper rash, or yeast infection rash on the bottom area. When baby is totally red, raw and sore - even bleeding at times - I put a thin layer of neosporin over the rash and cover with a thick layer of triple paste. This product will cover the rash without being absorbed by the diaper and the rash improves dramatically after using it. I only use it for severe diaper rash and use desitn/balmex for regular changes as preventative ointments. I always have it on hand. VS Most Liked Negative Review It works ok..... I have to use A&D ointment at every diaper change to prevent a diaper rash for her or make it much less severe. I usually use Destitin Overnight on top of Nystatin (prescription) but I was looking for something that would clear up the rashes in the same amount of time that doesn't involve using a prescription ointment. I tried to use this by itself but it didn't seem to work. I wouldn't say it's bad but I think that the Destitin works just as good and is much cheaper. I would recommend trying it in the 2oz package at least once though. REVIEWS Reviewed by 14 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » 9/12/2012 The only remedy for a red, red booty! Comments about Triple Paste Medicated Ointment for Diaper Rash, 2 oz: My baby had a terrible diaper rash due to what we think is a milk intolerance. We tried several different creams and this is the ONLY one that worked! Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Triple Paste Medicated Ointment for Diaper Rash, 2 oz: My youngest,at 3 years old, had a severe rash "down there" due to what we thought was "with-holding" bowel movements. After 8 Dr visits in a 6 month period, we had biopsy (yep down there)to confirm Lychin Sclorsis....very rare auto-immune disease, that when it flares up, will make the skin like paper and she ulcerates under the skin. This paste is the only thing that we can use, as well as 2 different prescription lotions. It heals and protects and sometimes, overnight, makes things all better. To any new Mom, I give this because, yes it is expensive, it works fast, and that is what we all want. Also works for heat rash husbands get, we don't travel without this. Comments about Triple Paste Medicated Ointment for Diaper Rash, 2 oz: My 1st child would get a rash when he was just a few weeks old (very sensitive skin). We tried all those free samples you get when you are pregnant, and nothing seemed to work. Our pediatrician gave us a sample of this to try and now 3 kids later, it is the only diaper rash cream that i every use!! It is awesome. The rash was gone overnight. It is thick, we applied it to the area, and the next diaper change, the rash diappeared. I just wish they made a smaller size that was easier to throw in the diaper bag. The sample size was perfect to throw in the medicine bag and keep in my diaper bag, even as my kids got older and my diaper bags got smaller, i wanted a smaller size. Comments about Triple Paste Medicated Ointment for Diaper Rash, 2 oz: This product worked so well when a bout of diarrhea broke down my granddaughter's diaper area. None of the basic zinc oxide creams or petroleum-based creams did a thing. Even her pediatrician recommends Triple Paste. Comments about Triple Paste Medicated Ointment for Diaper Rash, 2 oz: I love this paste. I was desperate to find something that works after my son had diarrhea for a week...twice in a row. His butt was very raw and other diaper cream/ointment just wouldn't adhere to raw flesh so it wouldn't heal anything at all. I finally tried this and this one made it all better in 24 hours. It has no smell, doesn't leave your fingers sticky and you can spread it easily and thickly. I definitely recommend it. Cons Best Uses Comments about Triple Paste Medicated Ointment for Diaper Rash, 2 oz: We use this product often on our two children still in diapers. It is absolutely the best diaper rash cream out there. It's the only cream that will treat and get rid of a rash within a day. Other creams smell strong but this one does not. It is gentle and soothing for baby. I wouldn't use anything else now! Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful?
