This doesn't work too bad. The color is okay but it is lighter than others I have ussed. The smell when you first put it on is nice (kind of like key lime pie) but be careful, after its on for a while it smells just like the other self tanners. It also goes on rather greasy and if you put on a heavy layer it takes forever to soak in. I will definitely use the rest of the tube I have, for as organic as you can get I can deal with the some of the unpleasantness but I'll probably go back to St. Tropez after this.

It's difficult to find pure products without any ingredients that are not good for you, especially special use products like self tanners.
Loved the way it made my skin look the next morning when I applied it at night, love the natural look. Sometimes I just use it once a week for a little soft natural glow. Other times, like when my hair was lightend too much, I used it several days in a row and had a nice tan look that made my light blond hair and skin look better together!

When i decided to eliminate chemicals from my body and face products i didn't think i'd ever find a great self tanner to compare to the regular ones. I purchased and tried many..lavera, jane iredale, some others and xcpt for natures gate none of them gave me a bit of color even after applying two or three times. The natures gate gave me color, not as dark, but with a couple of coats a good color and is much more reasonably priced...This one though is expensive for a tiny tube (3 oz) but gives awesome color and looks beautiful..it's thick and creamy not like some of the others that are watery. It was a bit greasy after but not too bad and well worth the color...which lasts for me about 5 days b4 needing to reapply.
