If I take a shower or bath I can wrap my hair up in the towel and it keeps it dry. After shampooing I just wrap it around my wet hair and it absorbs excess moisture out of my hair.

THIS WAS A VERY GOOD INVESTMENT. I HAVE A COUPLE OF THESE TURBIE TWISTS AND THE COLORS ARE CUTE. THESE ARE VERY LIGHT ON YOUR HEAD, BETTER THAN WEARING ONE OF YOUR REGULAR TOWELS AFTER WASHING YOUR HAIR. AND THEY SOAK UP THE WATER.

This little wrap is the greatest invention since sliced bread.... my hair is practically dry after 5 minutes of wearing the turbie after shampooing. I rarely have to use the blow dryer now, which is better for my delicate fine hair. Thanks.

This came exactly as described, I was hoping to replace some old similar hair towels and thought this looked like the same thing. They were not the same. My old ones were thicker and more absorbent, they also stayed in place much better than these do. So far I haven't gotten so aggravated that I've thrown them out....but I have a feeling that it's coming soon. I wouldn't recommend.
